We tested it for you: a relaxing moment at Espace Yoga Andernos

Winter is an opportunity for the team to test the products offered by our partners! This Tuesday, we had an appointment at Espace Yoga Andernos to learn about the practice of yoga. As novices, we didn't know what to expect for this session dedicated to relaxation and well-being. 

  • Discovery of the room

Espace Yoga Andernos is already an atmosphere! Located on the first floor of a building in the craft zone, we are surprised to discover a room with a warm atmosphere. Everything is planned to leave your worries at the door and enjoy a moment centered on your deep self!

  • Introduction to “hatha yoga”

First of all, a little definition is necessary. Jenny explains to us that the “hatha yoga” that we are going to practice corresponds to a practice of “effort yoga” aimed at rely on body work and the corresponding mental attitude.

Installed on our mat, we begin with a few warm-ups, based on breathing exercises. If it seems easy at first, it takes some time and concentration to find the serenity and calm necessary to continue with other positions. 

From posture to posture, Jenny accompanies us in our discovery, correcting our movements to avoid injuries. An hour of class later, even if we are far from having become “yogi-girls”, it is clear that we are calm. Also stiff... We who arrived with our aprioris and our beliefs, they were swept aside by this course masterfully led by Jenny.
