Tide bins for stranded waste
As part of the Municipality's Sustainable Development policy, the “Tide bins” project has just been launched on Bétey beach.
The City of Andernos continues its policy of sustainable development and now has 3 new tide bins. They are being deployed in 6 municipalities in the Basin at the initiative of the Marine Natural Park after past experimentation, notably in 2021 in Andernos.
Wrongly confused with trash cans, tide tanks are used to collect waste from the sea and left on the sand.
