Discover a unique place of history: the Saint Éloi website, attached to the oyster port. On the beach, a remarkable 11th century Romanesque church, one of the oldest religious buildings in the Arcachon Basin, stands alongside the remains of a huge 4th century Gallo-Roman villa, classified as a historic monument since 1933.
Then go to the Louis David House, built between 1895 and 1908 for the then mayor, who gave it his name. This seaside inspired residence, typical of the Arcachon Basin, now houses a cultural space that hosts exhibitions from March to October as well as a museum where objects found during archaeological excavations on the Saint Éloi site are displayed.
