Ideally located in the Louis David garden, the Ignota villa, built between 1895 and 1908, for the mayor of the time Louis-Théodore DAVID, presents the characteristics of seaside architecture of the end of the XNUMXth and beginning of the XNUMXth century. It welcomed some of the most important personalities of the time: artists, writers, politicians, etc.
Today it is a cultural center which hosts, from March to October, numerous exhibitions of painting and plastic arts.

It also houses a small city museum where some of the remains found on the site of the Gallo-Roman ruins are kept, as well as a collection of ancient coins, some municipal archives and manuscripts.
